Project Life - Week 30

Welcome to Project Life 2015! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will stay a while. I'm Jessica, wife to Juan, mommy to 3 year old Maddie. I am also an electrical engineer by day and I am participating in Project Life, a different way to record our lives by taking one photo a day. This was inspired by the fabulous Becky Higgins.

I am using a digital kit on Shutterfly. This digital version is SUPER easy to use! See my completed pages for 2012 using the Shutterfly - Project Life Turquoise Edition HERE and my 2013 album using the Shutterfly - Project Life Childhood - Mayfield Edition HERE I will hopefully be posting my 2014 pages soon.

And finally, my POTW (pictures of the week) -

Thursday - Daddy and Maddie used sketch paper today to create a story. They continued to add on as the story developed. It was very cute to watch. Maddie is enthralled with anything that Daddy does. She loves him so much!

Friday - Maddie's last day of VBS. She had a great week and enjoyed coming everyday. Conversation between Maddie and I this morning:
Me: Come on Maddie get up, it's 6:30.
Maddie:  It's 6:30! I hope it doesn't get to 11:30.
Me:  11:30? What happens at 11:30?
Maddie:  It will be soo early!

After camp:
Me:  What did you learn about today at church camp?
Maddie:  That little boy had bread and he split it in half and had more and more and more and more.

Saturday - Another week of ballet. As you can see in the photos, Maddie dove through the circus flame in lieu of dancing through it as her instructor specified. I love that she always takes the path less chosen - or more like takes that path that doesn't exist and carves it out! After ballet, we went to Nana's to swim with Ashlyn and Jakob. Nana got out the slip N slide. Jakob did the best on it. Maddie and Ashlyn were both a little too small, not enough weight to get a good slide. Nana also made homemade ice cream, which Maddie loves. Ashlyn only took one bite and Jakob on a little.  Maddie ate her whole bowl and asked for seconds! I think all the kiddos had a great time.

Sunday - We started preparing for Maddie's 4th birthday party. I drew three large dinosaurs out of plywood, a TRex, a brontosaurus, and a triceratops. Maddie was very excited and wanted to help me draw. Now Daddy just needs to cut them out and we can paint them.

Tuesday - Maddie drew a picture on her chalkboard today and then proceeded to tell me that it was a mama monster and a baby monster and told me an entire story. It was perfect and I could see everything she spoke of in her Drawing. This evening we met Tio Jaime and his girlfriend Paloma at Grimaldi's for dinner. Maddie loves pizza, our favorite is sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms.

Wednesday - We've been working on the Dinoculars for Maddie's party. Nana also finished the welcome wreath. How cute is it? There are even baby dinosaurs on the top. It's perferct!

Thanks for visiting!
